This Privacy Policy explains how ASRE collects, uses, retains, and discloses personal information when a person visits an ASRE website, submits an ASRE form, asks about selling or buying real estate, requests brokerage information, or otherwise communicates with us.
This policy applies to the ASRE — Seller Inquiry form and other ASRE-controlled online services that link to it. It does not govern an unrelated third party’s website, application, or privacy practices.
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Identity and contact information: name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, and preferred contact method or time.
Property information: property address, unit number, city, state, postal code, condition, occupancy, ownership or authority to provide the information, selling reason, estimated timeline, and notes you choose to submit.
Service-request information: the real estate service or information requested, communications with ASRE, appointments, tasks, and the status of our response.
Consent and preference information: whether and when you agreed to receive calls, email, or text messages; the disclosure presented when you made the choice; opt-out, suppression, and do-not-contact requests.
Source and attribution information: the ASRE form, website, campaign, referral, or other source that led to the inquiry.
Technical information: IP address, browser or device information, date and time, form activity, cookies, and similar information that may be collected by our website, customer-relationship-management platform, security tools, or hosting providers.
Transaction information: information created if you later enter into a brokerage, referral, listing, representation, property-management, or other written agreement with us. Additional notices or agreements may apply at that stage.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank or payment credentials, government identification numbers, medical information, or other sensitive information through a general inquiry form.
We may collect information:
directly from you through forms, calls, email, text messages, meetings, or documents;
automatically through our website and service providers;
from a person you authorize to communicate for you;
from public property, tax, licensing, court, or government records when permitted by law; and
from referral sources, real estate professionals, advertising sources, or service providers when they are permitted to provide it.
We do not automatically merge contact identities solely because records appear similar. Suspected duplicates may be reviewed by an authorized person before any record correction.
We may use personal information to:
receive, evaluate, route, and respond to a service request;
identify the person and property involved in an inquiry;
preserve source, consent, and disclosure evidence;
assign an authorized ASRE professional and create internal response tasks;
prevent duplicate records, fraud, misuse, or unauthorized access;
communicate manually about the request through channels the person selected or otherwise permitted by law;
provide brokerage information, discuss seller options, schedule a requested conversation, or prepare for services the person requests;
maintain records, comply with legal or professional duties, and resolve disputes;
protect ASRE, its clients, users, systems, and rights; and
improve our forms, services, security, and operations using aggregated or de-identified information where practical.
Submitting a seller inquiry does not authorize ASRE to execute a contract, list or sell a property, create an agency relationship, make a representation commitment, charge a fee, or send promotional communications without any additional agreement or permission required by law.
ASRE separates a service request from optional channel permissions.
A person may request information without agreeing to marketing messages.
Call, email, and text choices should be presented separately where the form supports them.
Consent to marketing is not a condition of obtaining brokerage information or services.
Message frequency may vary and message or data rates may apply.
A person may revoke permission by using any reasonable method, including replying STOP to a text, using an unsubscribe link in a marketing email, emailing us, or calling us.
We may send a legally permitted confirmation of an opt-out request.
The initial ASRE-LIVE-01 seller-intake release uses internal alerts and manual follow-up only. It does not automatically send client email, text messages, calls, voicemails, or appointment messages.
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:
Service providers: website hosting, customer-relationship management, email, telephone, security, data storage, analytics, document, and professional-service providers working for ASRE.
Authorized ASRE personnel: brokers, agents, employees, and contractors who need the information to handle the request.
Requested transaction participants: lenders, settlement providers, inspectors, contractors, property managers, real estate professionals, or other parties when the person requests or authorizes the disclosure or when it is necessary for a later transaction.
Legal and safety purposes: courts, regulators, law enforcement, professional boards, insurers, or other parties when required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety.
Business transfers: a successor in a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law and appropriate protection of the information.
ASRE does not sell personal information collected through the ASRE — Seller Inquiry form for money and does not use that form’s data for third-party targeted advertising in the initial release. ASRE does not share a direct seller inquiry with an unaffiliated investor, contractor, referral source, or marketing partner for that party’s own marketing without separate permission or another lawful basis.
Our websites and service providers may use cookies, pixels, logs, and similar technologies to operate forms, remember settings, measure performance, prevent abuse, and understand traffic. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, although parts of the website or forms may not work correctly afterward.
If ASRE later uses personal information for targeted advertising or other activity that requires an opt-out under applicable law, ASRE will provide the required notice and choice before relying on that use.
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to the request, maintaining transaction or professional records, documenting consent and suppression, preventing duplicate outreach, meeting legal obligations, and resolving disputes.
Consent, opt-out, do-not-contact, source, and audit evidence may be retained longer than an inactive inquiry when necessary to prove or honor a person’s communication choices. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it, subject to legal and operational limits.
ASRE uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No website, transmission, storage system, or security process is guaranteed to be completely secure. Do not send sensitive financial or identity information through an ordinary inquiry form or unsecured email.
Depending on applicable law, a person may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or profiling; or to appeal a denied privacy request.
To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject Privacy Request, or mail the request to the address above. To appeal a decision, use the subject Privacy Appeal. We may take reasonable steps to verify identity and authority before acting. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.
ASRE currently states that it does not sell information collected through the seller form for money and does not use the ASRE-LIVE-01 seller-intake route for automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
ASRE’s seller-inquiry services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 through the seller form. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request review and deletion.
Our website may link to government, listing, mapping, lender, settlement, social-media, or other third-party services. ASRE does not control those parties’ privacy practices. Review the privacy notice of any third-party service before providing information there.
We may update this policy when our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The posted version will show its effective date. If a change materially expands how previously collected information is used, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
